Position Summary

Local4 is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Short-Term Rental Cleaning Contractors to perform high-quality turnover cleanings for vacation rental properties in Ocean City, MD. This position requires strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to follow structured cleaning checklists to ensure consistency across all properties.

The contractor is responsible for cleaning and resetting all areas of the property, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces, and outdoor areas as applicable. Responsibilities also include handling laundry, restocking linens, removing trash, and reporting any damages or maintenance concerns.



This role requires the ability to work efficiently within scheduled time windows, either independently or alongside a team, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform full turnover cleaning of short-term rental properties between guest stays
• Clean and reset all interior spaces including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas
• Clean outdoor areas such as balconies or patios as applicable
• Handle laundry including washing, drying, folding, and restocking linens and towels
• Remove trash and recyclables and replace liners
• Follow detailed turnover checklists to ensure consistent quality
• Inspect property for damages, missing items, or maintenance issues and report findings
• Use company-provided cleaning products and equipment efficiently
• Maintain clean and organized work practices during and after each job
• Work independently or collaboratively with team members as assigned
• Complete all tasks within scheduled timeframes

Scope Limitations

This role is limited to cleaning, staging, and property reset tasks. It does not include maintenance, repairs, or any work requiring licensing unless specifically authorized.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift, carry, and move typical cleaning supplies and household items
• Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor coastal conditions typical of the Ocean City, MD area
